Q: How Can I Attend?
A: Queercon hosts a number of events around the US over the course of the year. Check out the Events page to find an upcoming Queercon Event near you.
Q: What is the cost?
A: We make every attempt to not chrage a cover, however because some events have become so popular and expensive we do offer VIP tickets not only does this help cover costs, it also ensures your get access to the event as space is sometimes limited. If you dont want to buy a VIP Ticket, thats fine your still welcome to attend but depending on how many people show up, entry may be limited due to capacity limits.
Q: What is a Queercon Badge? Do I need one to attend?
A: During Queercon Las Vegas we produce a unique electronic badge that is based a lot on social interaction and cool blinky lights. While the Queercon Badge is amazing and fun, it is not rquired to have one in order to attend.
Q: Who can come?
A: Admittedly, the primary goal of this party is to get all the GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) hackers together and hopefully we can discover how strong our ranks really are. But this party completely open to everyone who enjoys meeting great new people and having a good time.
Q: Is there an age restriction?
A: There are numerous events that occur over the 4 days, depending on the venue the event is held at there may or may not be an age requirement. We try our best to make events open to all ages, but its Vegas and some venues just don’t work with us. See the event details for age requirements.
Q: I dont feel safe attending...
A: We know that although they’re a minority, some people are intolerant of differences. For that reason, in order to ensure the safety of everyone who attends we work closely with each of our venues and many times have additional security present, we also have a enforced conduct policy, hopefully that makes you change your mind.
